Triamcinolone acetonide
Indications/Uses
Additional treatment & temporary alleviation of the symptoms associated w/ inflammatory or ulcerative lesion in oral mucosal due to trauma.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply thinly on the affected area 2-3 times daily preferably after meal or at night.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ TB, gastric ulcer, DM should not be given corticosteroids unless suggested by doctors. Discontinue if irritation or sensitization occurs. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Prolonged use may cause adrenal suppression, change of glucose metabolism, protein catabolism, gastric ulcer activation.
